Why It's A Must See Movie
If you going to watch Rebel Without A Cause get ready to get in touch with your emotions and with those of the characters. In fact what I enjoy about this movie is that it demonstrates the heightened emotions of the teenage years. It explores ideas about why people behave the way they do. I feel like it gives the viewer an idea of the psychology of the troubled teen. It's one of those movies that that talks about how your relationship with your parents and other kids can effect your world view. Many of the ideas explored in this movie are still relevant today. I love that the movie doesn't need a lot of dialogue to get all these points across. Most of it is done with action. Super cool! Am I right?
I also am totally in love with the colors in this movie. I can't tell you why it's any different than any other movies of the time. I just feel like everything is so high pigment and I like high pigment films. Maybe this is one of the movies that made me feel that way. In short this is a beautiful film both look wise and emotionally. It has one of those poignant endings that is both sad and perfect. I love seeing the changes that happen with the characters in the few hours the movie is set within. Watch Rebel Without A Cause. It is one of those must sees of all must sees.
