Weekly Obsession Wednesday - Mostly Movie Sequels and Eye Masks Are Beautiful

Hey guys! Time for the obsessions for this week. My list consists of mostly movie sequels but one non-movie related thing. On with the show.

#3 Star Trek Into Darkness

One night my mom and I wanted to watch something different than our normal TV show binge watches. I suggested that we finally watch the sequel to the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie, Star Trek Into Darkness. I didn't really remember the first film very well but luckily Into Darkness pretty much stands on it's own. I loved it! It had everything I wanted in a good action/sci-fi movie. Plus now that I've watched a lot of the original Star Trek series I noticed the little nods to the series in the movie. Extra cool!

#2 The Amazing Spider-Man 2

I actually should have mentioned my obsession with the movie last week. However, I was sleepy last week and lost my brain. Anyway, I'm rolling it over to this week because it is just that awesome. First of all you have to know that no one is more obsessed with the first Amazing Spider-Man movie than my mom. I lost count of how many times she watched it after around the 20th time. It feels like she's watched it at least 100 times by now. I love it quite a bit as well so I can fault her for it. Last week we finally got around to watching the sequel, and it was so good we watched it again the next day. Such a great action movie. It is also very character driven though which makes me really happy. I'm looking forward to watching it 100 more times with mom.

#1 TheraPearl Eye-ssential Mask

As I mentioned I've been having a lot of eye allergy problems. The only thing that really helps is to put something cold on them to help with the swelling. After a week of putting cool drink bottles and bags of ice on my eyes I decided it was time to find some kind of eye mask. I found the TheraPearl Eye-ssential Mask at the Walgreens and it is amazing. It's re-useable and you can use it for hot and cold. I like that it's made of little beads inside so it really forms to the eye area. The only weird thing is that obviously you can't see when it's on. That's okay though because it gives me time to listen to my audio book.
