Weekly Obsession Wednesday - Things I Didn't Appreciate Until I Didn't Have Them

Hey people. Almost everything on this list is something I didn't know I missed until I need it and did have it. It's funny how that worked this week.

#3 Making A New Fan Video

If you are a long time follower you might have noticed that I haven't made a new fan video in a long time. I've been busy editing my vlog videos. The other reason is that I've had fan video block. It might have been because my computer was acting up, and it's difficult to come up with a new idea when you have so many computer issues distracting you. Now I've been using my mom's much faster computer and it makes things a little easier.

I started a new fan video this week. I got inspired by a music video and of course how the lyrics would go with several movies. I'm enjoying editing it. It's got a lot of my usual touches but I'm trying some different things with editing to which is exciting. I guess I didn't know how much I missed my little hobby until I got new inspiration.

#2 Aldiko

I've been trying for the longest time to read a book that an author sent me for review. I couldn't get into reading it, and it wasn't because I didn't like the book. It was because I was haveing so many issues with the application I was using to read it on my tablet. First of all what was I thinking trying to read it on my tablet in it first place? I only ever like to read comics on my tablet. I hardly ever read books on it. Usually I read books on my e-reader or phone.

I was really in the mood to read this book and I finally just got feed up with that application. I decided first of all I was going to read it on my phone, and secondly I was going download the Aldiko application to do it. I had the Alidko e-book application a long time ago when I was reading review copies of books a lot more. I just didn't download it on my newest phone because I had so many reading applications on it all ready. However, I didn't realized until I got Alidko back that there were so many things I love about it. It is so easy to add files to read on it. It also offers so many font types and sizes. You can change the back ground and font color to way more colors than they offer on Kindle or Nook. It makes it so much easier on my ADD eyes.

#1 Give Me My Zipfizz!

Speaking of ADD. I use a product called Zipfizz to keep my focus going. It's powder you mix with water for energy. I just take it because it's got a ton of B vitamins which helps the connectors in my brain keep well...connecting. Though I admit the little bit of caffeine in it doesn't hurt when I have to keep going on a long day. At the end of last week I ran out of my Zipfizz. I couldn't get anymore until Monday. It sounds melodramatic but I literally can not function without the stuff. One day I tried to get by on my Dad's 5 Hour Energy (that's what he uses for his ADD). It was better than nothing but Zipfizz just works so much better for me. The good news is that I finally could get some more on Monday. No more zombie Jazz! No more accidentally taking Ibuprofen PM in the daytime because I was spaced out! No more brain haze! Thank God! You can call me an addict, but I really do need that Zipfizz at least once a day. If it's a really long day I might have to chase it with a shot of beet juice.
