I couldn't remember if I had posted this video already or not. I don't think I did though. This is a short video about ballet shoes made by the Royal Opera House. Despite the title I feel like it is more about how the shoes are made and stored. However, there is a bit about how to prepare the shoes for performance. I still find the video interesting. Man, a ballet company goes through a ridiculous amount of shoes!
