#5 Trying New Eye Make Up
I don't really wear too much make up unless it's for performance. However, I do love eye make up and lip gloss. Lately I've felt that my eye make up collection has gotten kind of blah. I just wanted some new colors. I decided to pick up a couple new mascaras and eye-shadows. I haven't gotten to try them out yet but I excited to test some of them in my upcoming vlogs.
I have several pairs of headphones. I guess I have an addiction but I feel like each pair had it's own purpose. Anyhow I decided to get an new pair recently because I wanted some that fit the shape of my ears better. These new ones I picked are perfectly shaped and they are really light as well. They are my second favorite color lime green. The best thing about them is that they only cost me $10 at Big Lots.
#3 Best Coast - Our Deal - Supervideo
Our Deal is a short film/MTV music video for the music of duo Best Coast directed by Drew Barrymore. I am obsessed with this thing. I found it quite by accident online and I think I've watched it once a day since. I even ended up watching the behind the scenes video. Not only does it feature quite a few popular young actors, but the concept just happens to be flipping awesome. It's like a fusion of West Side Story and Rebel With Out A Cause with the modern world. So cool! Plus I got introduced to a new musical artist. I think I'll definitely be giving Best Coast a listen.
#2 'Salem's Lot
I've been in kind of in a reading slump. Mostly because I'm reading a lot of books but I'm kind of not in love with them. I like them a whole lot but it's not the same as love. Stephen King along with Neil Gaiman are the authors I go too when I'm in one on these moods. Since I read a Neil book already this year I decided to go with Stephen this time. I figured I haven't read 'Salem's Lot since my freshman year in high school. I love re-reading a book when you've almost forgotten the whole book. It's like the book is brand new again. I loving reading this book. I ended up reading about 80 pages in two hours when I started it. Yay!
#1 New Music Gear
My mom and I have started busking. However, we really needed a couple amps that were battery powered and some new headset microphones. After browsing Guitar Center we found the just the right amp. We got the microphones today from Amazon. So happy. They are both awesome. We can't wait to get out on the streets and busk with them. Super plus is that while we were at Guitar Center my mom and I pitched in and put a beautiful acoustic bass on layaway. I can't wait until we pay it off so I can take it home.
