I am obsessed with anime so I'm starting a new review series where I talk about it. I've been re-watching Sailor Moon and have started watching the re-boot Sailor Moon Crystal. Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever watched, so I thought it was fitting to talk about my thoughts about it as the first episode of this review series. I'm looking forward to talking about some of the other animes I've watched recently in the future.

Weekly Obsession Wednesday
Hey everybody. Time for my obsessions for this week. Enjoy!
#3 Sailor Moon
On Monday night before I went to sleep I wanted to watch something. I didn't want to watch anything too long which usually means cartoons. I usually would watch Ultimate Spider-Man but that's my Sunday and Monday morning show. I remembered seeing that Hulu had Sailor Moon and the new reboot Sailor Moon Crystal. When I was a kid I was obsessed with the English version of Sailor Moon. It's actually that series that got me into fan-fiction. However, I never watched the episodes in Japanese. I thought I'd give Sailor Moon Crystal a whirl. After I watched the two episodes on Hulu of that I got such a jolt of nostalgia I decided to watch the original series in Japanese as well. I'm enjoying it. Usagi is just a klutzy and adorably hilarious as I remember. Other than that I realize that I remember almost nothing else about the plot. LOL!
#2 Birds of Prey TV Series
My mom and I always really enjoyed the 2002 Birds of Prey TV Series. Even though like everything we like it got cancelled after only one season. We missed watching it and it just so happens that you can buy it on Vudu. Hence we got the series this week. So lovely! Of course now I have actually read the comic a bit and know that it is pretty different from that material. I don't care though. It's so much fun. Plus they use a lot of the music I listened to back then. Back to the nostalgia thing. I guess this week is all about nostalgia. I want a reboot of this show though. CW please do Birds of Prey! I'm sure Flash will be okay, Arrow is great, but I want Birds of Prey!
#1 My Costume For My Book Review This Week
Truthfully this has been an obsession of mine for more than a week. Still I think I became even more obsessed with this costume this week. I decided since Salem's Lot was written in the 70's I would do a 70's look for the book review. For the last couple weeks it been watching make-up tutorials,buying false eyelashes, and finding just the right outfit in my closet. I think it worked out pretty well. Though my left eyelash went on a bit wonky. I don't think anyone will notice too much. I even put on a pair of fangs for a second in the video.
