#5 The 1975
I kept hearing about this band on YouTube and other blogs. I figured it was time to them a listen. It is my kind of music. They have a cool mix of styles and they have the semi retro vibe I always enjoy.
#4 Echosmith
I just discovered this band last Monday night. They were performing on the Teen Wolf after show Wolf Watch. They sounded so awesome! I had to go listen to more of their songs. I like them for pretty much the same reasons I like The 1975. I will add though that I like how they balance all of the sounds in their music. None of the instruments or voices overshadow each other. Everything just blends in an excellent way.
#3 Teen Wolf Season 4 Premiere!
Speaking of Teen Wolf. I was excited for the season 4 premiere of the show all weekend. It finally happened Monday night. Yay! I was awesome! I talked about it quite a bit today, so I think it counts as an obsession. Gosh, it's basically the only reason to ever watch something on MTV.
#2 MORE MAKE UP!
I have never been more obsessed with make up than I have been recently. I think it's because of my video blog. I like to try new looks every week, so that mean trying new make up looks. My favorite eye-shadow right now is Revlon PhotoReady. I keep trying new palettes of this eye-shadow and they are all lovely. I also got a hi-lighting blush by Maybelline for my cheeks, and a mascara by Voluminous called Miss Manga that shapes your lashes in a Anime style. I tried them out last night and they look pretty good. I also can't wait to try the cool teal eye-shadow I got from Avon last week.
#1 Planning This Week's Book Review Vlog
I have been super meticulous about planning this week's book review/movie review video for The Last Unicorn. I wanted to make sure every element was ready so that it would turn out okay when I filmed it. I actually got to dress up for this one so it should be amusing. If it all goes my way the book review will be up Thursday and the Movie Review will be up Friday.
