This Week's List: Top 5 Movies/TV Shows That Make You LOL

This was a hard one because I'm very picky about what I think is funny. I also watch a lot of old shows so that's a lot of choices. To narrow it down I only picked things that were made during my lifetime. These aren't really in any particular order.

1. Sherlock

I bet if you don't watch this show you weren't expecting this one. I like to surprise people. The fact is that Sherlock is one of those shows that is a drama that happens to be more than occasionally hilarious. The third season was particularly funny. The highlight moment being Sherlock's best man speech and John and Mary's wedding. Priceless! 

2. Firefly

This is another wild card. The fact is that if it's created by Joss Whedon it is probably funny in some way. This show also brings some funny in with it's drama/science fiction. Witty quips, wacky dialogue/situations, and beautiful sarcasm.

3.Ugly Betty

Oh this show is just cute and funny. Nothing like wacky over the top characters and parodies of the fashion world to bring you joy. The episode where Marc and Betty dress like a hot dog and a bun and sing made me laugh so hard. When the show was originally on I actually had to rewind it and watch it again to relive the hilarity.

4.The Crazy Ones

I don't usually do out of my way to watch new sitcoms. I always end up watching re-runs or watching them on Netflix. I'm so glad took a chance and gave this show a try. Robbin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar are excellent. Everyone in the cast is equally as crazy and funny as they are. Note there is a reason it called The Crazy Ones. Plus, it is one of those show that puts in some of the bloopers at the end of the show. Lol! 

5. Music and Lyrics

I figures there should be at least one movie on my list. I would say that any Hugh Grant rom/com deserves a  spot on this list. However, I think that Music and Lyrics has the funniest off the wall dialogue and the most amusing antics, so I went with this one. "A little louder please. This song is intended for humans." Just thinking about it makes me crack up.
